6 Meter Short skip

Although we are only at the beginning of the 6 meter shortskip season, it is once again great fun to work on 50 MHz. Today is June 3rd and the 6 meter band is full of stations.

It has been really fun to work 6 meters in the last few days and today I have almost as many QSOs in the log as in the whole of 2024. And this despite the fact that conditions on shortwave are anything but good. We’ve had a lot of turbulence in the atmosphere recently.
