Hamradio Fair 2024
I went to Friedrichshafen to the Hamradio trade fair again this year. I traveled by train again.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to do everything I had planned. I was able to have my QSL cards checked for the DXCC diploma and have the points credited to me at the ARRL desk. Many thanks.
What surprised me, however, was the fact that it was not possible to have QSL cards checked for the IOTA diploma (Islands on the air). This was all the more surprising because the theme of the Hamradio this year was 60 years of IOTA. And on this anniversary there is no possibility to have QSL cards checked? I also had a question for those responsible because I was unable to upload contest logs from previous years to the system before the show. I always got a strange error message. I was promised at the fair that this would be checked, but so far nothing has happened. Now, a week after the event i am still not able to upload contest logs.
Here are a few more pictures from the fair.
